"You are not judged by the height you have risen, but from the depth you have climbed."
During this uncertain time, there are ways to stay connected to Rebound, Inc. and support the work we are doing in the community. As an essential organization, we continue to press forward in our daily efforts to support our youth and the youth in the community. Please keep an eye out for events, announcements, and giving opportunities across our social media platforms!
We appreciate the support we receive from our community on an ongoing basis!

BETTER TOGETHER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM!
Our Better Together mentorship program is looking for mentors!!
With 850 kids in the Juvenile Justice system in Hennepin County, we're looking for more positive male and females of the Black, Latina, Native and Somali communities. We're looking for more men to give back because the need is more significant.
There are three options for you to become a mentor in your community (one of the mentoring for one hour and thirty minutes):
1. In-person community mentoring - weekly community outing (your choice)
2. Red Wing - Bi-weekly, on-site visits (mileage paid) and bi-weekly phone call on the opposite weeks from visits.
3. Hennepin County Home School - Weekly, on-site visits
During COVID-19, we have moved to FaceTime, texting, phone calls, and MS team video chats. After the COVID-19 has passed and once it is safe to do so, we will go back to face-to-face meetings.
If you have questions or want to become a mentor, please call Will Tabor at 612-232-0295 or email at email@example.com.

BOILING FOR BRIGHTER FUTURES
We are hosting our first "Boiling for Brighter Futures" Louisiana-style seafood boil fundraiser, hosted by Shed G!
Come enjoy an afternoon of live music, endless seafood boils*, endless hurricanes*, games, raffles and more! Boiling for Better Futures is taking place on Father's Day!! This is a great opportunity to celebrate the AMAZING fathers in your life while supporting a Phenomenal cause. This is a family friendly event! Grab your dad and come have a good time! There will also be an opportunity to shout out your dad and all the wonderful things he has done!
All Proceeds will go towards our annual Historically Black College and University (HBCU) college tour, in which TWENTY young men and women will visit various black colleges and universities in multiple different states!!! We believe that if shown the possibilities for their lives, young people will achieve great things! Muhammad Ali once said, “If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it - then I can achieve it.” In keeping with this framework for success, exposure to positive possibilities for their lives can be transformational for at-risk youth who, with appropriate support from caring adults, can use the seed planted by these experiences to end the cycle of poverty and violence in their communities.
Rebound, Inc. welcomes donation of all kinds. In addition to cash, Rebound, Inc. is always looking for donations of new toiletries, food, tickets for community activities to attend, and clothing. Please see our Donations page, or contact Christy Botts at firstname.lastname@example.org for donation information.
