Ujima Family Resilience Program
Building on the principle of “Ujima”, the Family Resilience Program will prevent justice system involvement among Black youth and their families in North Minneapolis and surrounding areas.
Ujima follows the S.E.L.F curriculum, a trauma-informed psychoeducational group curriculum as a means to address the symptoms of trauma by providing education around trauma recovery and healing. The program will be provided in partnership with culturally specific providers from throughout the Twin Cities.
