Located on the West Side of Saint Paul, “Jelani House”, is a group home providing culturally specific services to court-involved, Black males between the ages of 14 to 21 with the goal of successfully reintegrating them into their families and communities.

• Jelani house employs a diverse staff of qualified individuals with degrees in corrections, criminal justice, sociology, psychology, social work, education or related fields.

Jelani House also employs people with a passion for guiding youth in a positive manner, focused on building healthy connections to their community

• Provides services to young men (14-21) who are under court supervision
• Jelani House provides services to residents between 30 days - 24 months 
• Jelani House residents AND their families will be offered case management services for up to 12 months after residents have completed the program
• A minimum staff to resident ratio of 1 to 6, during waking hours​

Refer a Youth to Our Group Home

• At Rebound, Inc., we are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for youth in need. Our group homes offer a nurturing space where young people can thrive, grow, and reach their full potential. If you know a youth who could benefit from our services, please follow the steps below to refer them to our program.
  Referral Process:
• Complete the Referral Form:
  • Fill out our Referral Form with the necessary information about the youth.
  • Provide detailed information to help us understand the needs and background of the youth you are referring.
  • Submit Supporting Documents:
    • Include any relevant documentation that will assist us in assessing the youth’s needs. This can include medical records, psychological evaluations, school records, or other pertinent information.
• Initial Assessment:
  • Our team will review the referral form and supporting documents. We may contact you for additional information or clarification during this process.
• Placement Decision:
  • After a thorough review, we will make a placement decision. If accepted, we will work with the youth and their support network to complete an intake, where important materials, goals, and documents will be collected and set. This meeting will ensure a smooth transition into our group home.
